What do you love about HopePointe Church?
What I love most about HopePointe is the strong and impactful sense of community. Everyone in the church genuinely seeks to connect with one another in a sincere and meaningful way, and that same genuineness extends to those outside the church. That is how I know our church will reach those who are lost and show them the hope and love of Jesus Christ.

Nazarene Missions International (NMI)

This year the 2026-2027 committee on nominations is asking the church to "affirm" with a vote of "yes or no" the position of NMI President. NMI is what we call an "essential ministry' In the Church of the Nazarene and it's primary role is to keep the church motivated and aware of our missional responsibility, not only around the globe, but also here in a our community as well. A leader of an "essential ministry" or ministry department is an "ex-officio" member of the leadership board.

Nichole Wallace - NMI President

Nichole is married to Brad and together they have two daughters; Grace and Addison. Nichole serves on our worship team, is active in her small group and serves with several of our community initiatives like Upward Soccer and Lake Forest Elementary. Nichole just completed her first year as NMI President where she led the effort to see our Faith Promise campaign revitalized. Faith Promise is the main funding mechanism for funding Nazarene global missionaries.

What do you love about HopePointe Church ?

HopePointe Church is becoming more and more focused on its mission to be that beacon of hope to our community and beyond by pointing others to the true source of hope, Jesus Christ! There is a sense of unity here that feels so authentic and the overwhelming gratitude for the goodness and faithfulness of God is such an encouragement.

Nazarene Youth International (NYI)

Each year the "young people" (students) chooses a representative to serve on the local church board. We identify this person as the NYI President. As a leader of an "essential ministry" the NYI President is an
"Ex-officio" member of the leadership board. (This election will not appear on the ballot...simply stated here for further clarity on how our leadership board is formed.)

Chris Ryon - NYI President

Chris is married to Ashley and they have 3 daughters (Madilyn, Kinsley, and Ellison). Chris and Ashley both are active serving in HopePointe Student ministries, HopePointe Kids, and leading the New Beginnings life group. Chris coaches an Upward soccer team and is team lead on our CARE Team.

What do you love about HopePointe Church?

I love that Hope Pointe church feels like a warm home. Whether I am tired, joyful, discouraged, or eagerly looking forward to worshipping with other believers, I can come as I am and experience Jesus. I feel like Hope Pointe genuinely desires and prepares the way for others to experience the same, and that leads to Christ filled hope.

Delegates to the South Carolina District Assembly

Each year the SC District gathers to celebrate how The Lord has led our churches across South Carolina, and also to be challenged for the year ahead. We are asking that the church vote "Yes" to allow Pastor David to nominate and the church board confirm our delegates for District Assembly which takes place on Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18 (This is in line with Manual Paragraph 113.14)
