Impact Pointe: Rooted in Hope, Ready for Impact
For more than four decades, the Waggoner Gym has been a place where lives are shaped, relationships are built, and the love of Christ is shared — from pick-up basketball games and preschool playtime to youth leagues and community events. As we look to the future, we believe God is calling HopePointe Church to not only update this vital space but to invest in our sports ministry as a whole. Through the Impact Pointe Campaign, we are laying a new foundation for ministry — one that will honor our past, strengthen our present, and expand our reach to families across the Upstate with the transforming hope of Jesus Christ. Together, we can ensure that every game, every gathering, and every conversation continues to be a pointe of impact for generations to come.
We've already got a jump start!
Thanks to years of faithful stewardship and a generous lead gift, we’ve already been able to take an exciting first step — the brand-new gym floor is now complete! This visible progress is just the beginning of what’s ahead. The next phase of the Impact Pointe Campaign will focus on finishing the gym with fresh paint, updated locker rooms, and welcoming common spaces furnished for connection and community. We also plan to invest in new gym equipment, improve our athletic fields, and replenish our building fund to ensure that our facilities remain ready to serve the next generation of ministry.
How You Can Help
Over the next 18 months would you consider giving extra above your tithe to further our mission for HopePointe Sports? Our goal is $50,000 over the next 18 months. That may seem like a large number but, with the Lord's Help, we can get there! For as little as $20 a month you could be a part of an investment that could transform how we minister through our Sports Ministry.
Here is a sample of how we reach our goal:

10 people committing to $100 a month = $18,000
15 people committing to $50 a month =$13,500
20 people committing to $20 a month = $7,200
That would bring our 18 month total to $52,200 and would surpass our goal!
